The power consumption of an Irinos system depends on the number of Irinos boxes connected and the number of connected devices. Connected devices include, for example, probes and sensors.
Please refer to the table below for an overview to help estimate the total power consumption. Please note that all figures are approximate. The actual power consumption may vary. For precise details on power consumption, please refer to the relevant data sheets.

The power consumption of the Irinos boxes themselves is relatively constant. The following factors are particularly critical when calculating total power consumption:
oExternal sensors / loads connected via the 24V outputs of the Irinos SC-AIN or SC-DIO boxes.
oExternal actuators / loads connected to the digital outputs of the Irinos SC-DIO box.
In many applications, the additional power consumption caused by external loads is in the region of a few watts, and even for most larger applications, the available 30W power supply is sufficient. However, you should pay particular attention to the power consumption of loads switched via the digital outputs, such as valves or lamps.
