Purpose
This user manual contains all the information required for the commissioning, operation and maintenance of the Irinos SC measurement system. It is intended for users and service engineers who commission the product, configure its settings or carry out fault diagnosis.
Scope of these operating instructions
These operating instructions apply to the Irinos SC industrial measurement system and its associated options.
Intended use
Irinos SC is a flexible, high-speed measurement system for industrial production metrology. It is suitable for continuous operation (24/7).
The measuring device is expressly not suitable for use in medical or potentially explosive environments, on aircraft, in the aerospace sector, or in domestic or office settings. This also includes any other areas not listed here but which are similar in nature.
In safety-critical areas, operational safety must be ensured by means of external devices (e.g. an external emergency stop circuit).

Basic knowledge required
Solid knowledge of mechanics and mechanical engineering is required for mechanical integration and fastening.
Expertise in electrical engineering and electrical safety is required for the electrical installation and commissioning.
A sound knowledge of industrial measurement technology and PC skills are required to set up the measurement task.

Firmware version
This user manual refers to firmware version 2.
(Version 2 is the first version available. Version 1 was skipped for the sake of clarity in relation to other systems.)
